The Dipping House Autumn / Winter Programme is here!
In Autumn 2026, The Dipping House will re-open its doors to visiting artists and companies, alongside our own winter production. We hope you find something to tickle your fancy!
What will you see at The Dipping House next?
The Dipping House is currently closed for renovation over the Summer, but we're very busy preparing for the Autumn and working on some lovely community projects...
The historic BURSLEM MARKET HALL is currently undergoing renovations, and we are delighted to be running a community heritage project - STALL STORIES - inviting local people to celebrate and preserve the stories of one of the town’s most loved landmarks which has been closed to the public for 23 years.
Where is it?
32 Queen Street, Burslem
When is it?
Every Saturday morning from 20 June - 25 July, 10am - 1pm
Additional dates tbc
What is it?
A welcoming space, where you can peek at the the works inside the Market through a viewing window at the back of the shop.
A sharing space, with time to sit and remember the Market and share memories and stories.
Anyone is welcome to join us, whether you have remember Burslem Market Hall, or if you're just curious. We'd love to see you!

THE DIPPING HOUSE A new arts and community venue for Claybody and Stoke-on-Trent
Since September 2023 Claybody Theatre has been permanently resident at Spode Works in Stoke.
In February 2024 we were delighted to be joined by our Patron for AN AUDIENCE WITH TOBY JONES - sponsored by KMF.
