Who’s at the end of the line...?
THE CALL is our 2020 audio drama, written and recorded remotely under lockdown conditions. The project enabled us to keep making work and employ actors, writers and creatives during the covid-19 pandemic. We were also able to maintain a vital connection to our audience and community, offering drama for them to enjoy.
Mark Benton plays Sam Griffin, an independent radio presenter whose daily breakfast show weaves through the lives of people in the city of Stoke-on-Trent. But his listeners and callers aren’t the only ones with problems… or secrets…
